Course Description
APUSh focuses on the political, economic, social, and intellectual history of the United States from the 1400s through the present day. The course also prepares students for the Advanced Placement exam taken in May. Classes will consist of student discussions, lectures, projects/presentations, debates, written assignments, and seminars. Students should expect to be challenged through the use of primary sources and critical thinking exercises, and should be prepared to develop and improve their writing and analytical skills.
